    Asian Animation Summit

    Asian Animation Summit strives to provide a platform for projects to secure investments in pitch events. Its inaugural edition was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2012. The summit is hosted by Kidscreen, the leading international trade publication serving the informational needs and interests of kids entertainment professionals.
    ASIFA-CHINA and Asian Animation Summit has signed cooperation agreements, which designates ASIFA-CHINA as the official partner of AAS. The agreement stipulates that ASIFA-CHINA is fully responsible for collecting and evaluating projects from China, providing assistance to Chinese studios and producers in international resource matching, and offering effective cooperation solutions.

    Qingdao East Asia Copyright Creative Boutique Exhibition Fair

    The Qingdao East Asia Copyright Creative Boutique Exhibition Fair is organized by Qingdao Municipal Government and Shandong Copyright Association and co-organized by ASIFA-CHINA.
    By these exhibition and trade fairs, awareness of copyright protection is enhanced, and creativity are boosted at the domestic level; and at the international level, copyright creative exchanges between China and Northeast Asia have been strengthened, and strong intelligent support is offered for the creative development of copyright industry in China and Northeast Asia.

  • Screenings of Award-Winning International Animated Shorts and Exhibitions of Precious Animation Manuscripts and Celluloids

    ASIFA-CHINA works with universities to present international animated short films, exclusively for ASIFA and sourced from different countries. These screenings are accompanied by reviews and opportunities of exchange. By these screening occasions, ASIFA-CHINA attempts to encourage students engage in animation creation proactively and prompt their diversified development.
    Furthermore, ASIFA-CHINA collaborates with universities to exhibit international classic animation manuscripts and cels. Commentary of these valuable resources is offered during the exhibitions.
